Thank you for your interest in the Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. The 22nd annual International Wine Competition was held on Nov. 15 – 17, 2024. Please find the winners below.

Entries for the 2026 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition will open on Aug. 1, 2025. If you would like to receive notice at that time, please email [email protected].

  2. Set up your wines in your account.
  3. Enter your selected wines into the Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition
  4. Pay your entry fees
  5. Ship your wine samples

If in person delivery is necessary or preferred, the hours of receiving are 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and closed on major holidays. The delivery MUST be scheduled in advance. Please email [email protected] AT LEAST 2 business days in advance to schedule your delivery date. Please included date of delivery, estimated time of delivery, driver name, and company in your email. Please also indicate whether a forklift is required for your delivery.

Deliveries:

  • Enter NRG Park Gate 12/ North Stadium Drive
  • Once in, please drive to the Wine Warehouse, which is located in the Buildings and Grounds warehouse behind NRG Center. A map of the property is available under downloads “Wine Warehouse Map.”
  • If the warehouse is unattended upon your arrival, please visit our Buildings & Grounds office for assistance. It is located under the breezeway rood to the left of the Wine Warehouse, door #15 by the lobby window.

4 p.m.		 Deadline to submit all wine samples for competition.
Friday, Nov. 15 – Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024 Judging for Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition
Friday, Jan. 10, 2025 Deadline to deliver wine, large-format label (Top Awards only) and brief wine description for Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup & Best Bites Competition and the Champion Wine Auction & Dinner. All wine entries which won a saddle, buckle or double-gold medal must participate. The etched trophy bottle award for auction buyers will be provided by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™.
Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025 Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup & Best Bites Competition at NRG Center. All wineries which won a saddle, buckle or double-gold medal are invited to pour and market winning wines.
Sunday, March 2, 2025 Rodeo Uncorked! Champion Wine Auction & Dinner
March 4 – March 23, 2025 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Champion Wine Garden open daily

Point of Sale

The Rodeo provides an array of merchandising materials to promote your award-winning wine in retail establishments. Wineries, distributors, retailers and marketing companies may download and customize bottle neckers, end cap banners, header cards, shelf talkers, etc. to print for retail store displays. Please note, these are the only approved marketing materials to be used to promote the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s International Wine Competition and are specific to the current Rodeo year. Our Wine Show volunteers work directly with local retailers to develop relationships and in-store displays to promote as many medal-winning wines as possible.

Digital Awards

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ provides digital medals for wineries to use in promoting their award-winning wine(s) online. Wineries should choose the medal that corresponds with the award won by a specific wine in the Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition (double gold, gold, silver or bronze). Please note, this medal art is the only approved format in which to use the Rodeo’s logo in conjunction with your winning wine.

    2024 RESULTS

    Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Toasts the Winners of the 21st Annual Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition

    This year’s competition, held Nov. 10 – 12 at NRG Center, featured 2,985 entries from 22 countries, including Argentina, Bulgaria, France, Israel, Italy, South Africa and Spain. Of the 2,985 entries, the countries with the most entries were the United States, Italy and Chile. In addition, 539 entries came from Texas wineries and the 2024 featured region, Chile, had 161 entries.
