Rodeo Uncorked! highlights wine production in agriculture. Before the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™, the Rodeo hosts an International Wine Competition, a food competition and wine auction. During the Rodeo, visit the Champion Wine Garden presented by Frost Bank where the champion wines from the International Wine Competition are served.

INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION

NOVEMBER 15-17, 2025

Entries for the 2026 Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition will open on Aug. 1, 2025.

The 22nd annual Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition was held Nov. 15 – 17, 2024 at NRG Center and featured a total of 2,876 entries from 20 countries. Of the 2,876 entries, the countries with the most entries were the United States, Italy, France and Argentina. In addition, 558 entries came from Texas wineries and the 2025 featured region, Napa County, had 314 entries.

Kick off the 2025 Show season by attending one of the largest gourmet food events in the world. Guests will interact with our chefs and winery representatives and help decide who takes home the “People’s Choice Award” in our Roundup & Best Bites Competition.

CHAMPION WINE AUCTION & DINNER

As one of the leading charitable wine auctions in the country, the Champion Wine Auction & Dinner features more than 450 award-winning wines from our Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. While supporting one of the state’s strongest charities, guests will enjoy a five-star dinner and cocktail service while bidding on unique items and experiences in our Silent Auction. The live auction bidding showcases our Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, and other award-winning wines. All purchased items are available to take home that evening. Purchase commitments and auction table purchase amounts can be applied toward Live Auction purchases.

Auction tables each seat 10 and can be purchased at the $9,000, $12,000 and $25,000 levels.

The Champion Wine Garden is an oasis that offers a cheerful atmosphere, top notch entertainment from rising Texas stars and a chance to savor more than 75 award-winning wines. We offer tent and table reservations for those looking to host an event in this popular spot during the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
