General Information

NRG Park Opening Times

The grounds open at 8 a.m. daily.

Concert Times

The star entertainers perform after the last Rodeo event is complete each evening and the stage is set. Actual start times for the concert can vary day to day due to the different number of rodeo competitors and other production elements.

  • Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Weekend rodeos start at 2:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 5 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 2 p.m.

General Store

Stop by the General Store, located at the entrance to Hall D, for your last minute needs while on the Show grounds. The store carries medicines, baby items, rain gear, sunscreen and other convenience items. The General Store is run by the Commercial Exhibits Committee.

Information Booths

Copies of the Visitors Guide, containing daily Rodeo schedules, maps and general information, can be obtained at the Rodeo’s information booths and stand-alone positions. The booths are located throughout the complex. A member of the Directions & Assistance Committee in a teal vest can provide assistance.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found is located inside NRG Center at Room 102 (between Hall A and Hall B).

For items lost or found in NRG Stadium, please check with any of the six guest services booths on the day the item is lost, or check the Rodeo’s Lost and Found located inside NRG Center after 10 a.m. the following day.

Guests inquiring about lost items on previous days should call the Lost and Found hotline at 832.667.1311. All items will be kept in the Lost and Found office throughout the Show.

Recycling Program

Largely through the work of the Rodeo’s Recycling Committee, products from Show grounds are kept out of landfills and turned into reusable products. All Show patrons can contribute to this program by using the specially-marked containers for products which can be recycled.

School Tours

The Rodeo’s school tours program offers complimentary tickets to those scheduling group tours. The tours take place in AGVENTURE, presented by OXY which hosts a variety of livestock and activities focused on children of all ages. The tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Nov. 2 the year before the next Rodeo.

Cashless Transactions

  • All NRG Park parking lots will be cashless. 
  • All transactions will be cashless in the Champion Wine Garden, presented by Frost. Guests may use their debit or credit cards for any purchases.
  • All Corral Clubs will be cashless.
  • While the majority of stands on NRG Park Grounds, NRG Center and NRG Arena will accept cash as well as debit or credit cards, NRG Stadium will be cashless.
  • The Carnival, presented by First Community, will accept cash and card.

Security

Security Screenings and Prohibited Items

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo security procedures include, but are not limited to: performing body wand and bag checks at several NRG Park entrance gates, and random bag checks at all NRG Stadium gates.

The Rodeo does not have a clear bag policy on the grounds or in NRG Stadium. Small purses or backpacks for personal items are allowed. Baby strollers and wagons are also allowed (there are “parking areas” at the North, West and Southeast Guest Services Booths of NRG Stadium for strollers and wagons).

Patrons should allow additional time to enter the grounds, as these security measures may be in place as they arrive at the event.

This information is posted at all gates and park-and-ride locations: All patrons are subject to wand and bag check screening at entrance gates.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • air horns
  • alcohol
  • banners bearing advertisements
  • banners judged to be in poor taste or offensive
  • beach balls
  • firearms
  • fireworks
  • flag poles
  • footballs
  • Frisbee® and other sports discs
  • hover boards

  • professional camera equipment (photography lenses over 3 inches in length)
  • selfie sticks
  • weapons
  • whistles

Audio recording is not allowed in NRG Stadium.

Video recording is not allowed in the stadium during RODEOHOUSTON®.

Firearms and Weapons Policy

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, in an effort to provide a safe environment and promote a family-friendly atmosphere at the city’s iconic entertainment event, will prohibit concealed and open carry of firearms by private citizens at the Rodeo.

Health and Safety

Automated External Defibrillators

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are located in the following areas of NRG Stadium:

  • Field Level – Sections 112 and 133
  • Lower Suite Level – East and West VIP elevator lobbies
  • Club Level – Next to guest services booths (northwest and southeast corners)
  • Upper Suite Level – East and West VIP elevator lobbies
  • Upper Concourse – Sections 517 and 543
  • Press Box Elevator Lobby

Additionally, AEDs are located on the first and second levels of NRG Center. Professional medical emergency personnel are available during Rodeo operating hours to help with AED use and to handle major and minor medical needs and emergencies.

First Aid

Professional medical emergency personnel are available during Rodeo operating hours to handle major and minor medical needs and emergencies. Several first aid stations are located throughout the Rodeo grounds and are staffed by volunteer emergency medical technicians, paramedics and registered nurses.

Handwashing and Hand Sanitizing

Handwashing and hand sanitizing stations are located through NRG Park.

Health and Medical Resources Available Onsite

Among its 35,000-member volunteer corps, Rodeo is fortunate to have three committees specifically engaged in health and safety. While each of these committees has its own unique function, they all provide medical support on the Rodeo grounds. There are over 1,200 volunteers, mostly comprised of healthcare professionals and first responders, across these committees. As experts in their fields, they will be available to educate their specific audiences in best practices for health and safety while on Rodeo grounds.

  • Health
    The Health Committee is comprised of licensed physicians, dentists and registered nurses who staff a primary care health clinic to provide health services to maintain the well-being of junior and professional exhibitors, vendors, and volunteers.
  • Medical and Safety
    This committee is responsible for providing medical care for Show guests and assisting in crowd control. Members also serve as a liaison between the Show and the Houston Fire Department, and assist in management and operation of various first aid stations and mobile units.
  • RODEOHOUSTON® Sports Medicine
    This committee consists of a team of specialized medical professionals responsible for the treatment, health, and well-being of RODEOHOUSTON athletes.

Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters

The Rodeo contracts with a commercial vendor who has wheelchairs and mobility scooters available to rent. These devices may be rented ahead of time online, or on the grounds during the Show. A form of ID will be held as collateral for the device. Please click here to reserve in advance.

Daily: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

NRG Park also provides complimentary wheelchair service for guests attending the Rodeo inside NRG Stadium. Wheelchair attendants are located at each gate of NRG Stadium and can transport guests from the gate to the guest’s ticketed seat and back to any of the NRG Stadium gates following the conclusion of the concert. To provide a faster response time, guests cannot keep the wheelchair throughout the event. NRG Park wheelchairs are not allowed to exit past any of NRG Stadium’s black gates or into the carnival grounds at any time. Please notify a nearby supervisor for wheelchair assistance or text us at 832.241.0202 once Stadium gates are open for wheelchair assistance.

Accessible Parking

A limited number of ADA parking, including van-accessible parking, is available in the Blue and Yellow lots for $25 per day. These spaces are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Present a valid state-issued handicap placard or vehicle registration for access. If you encounter any challenges with parking on the actual event date, please call 832.667.1000.

The primary ADA drop-off and pick-up location is Gate 9. Alternate ADA drop-off and pick-up locations are Gate 10 off Kirby and Gate 2 off Fannin.

If ADA parking is full, we recommend parking in the Yellow Lot or the 610 Lot. We offer ADA accessible trams equipped with a wheelchair ramp for transportation from these lots to the grounds.

NRG Park Amenities for Guests with Disabilities

We welcome you to NRG Park and invite you to enjoy one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in America. We have made it a top priority to accommodate the needs of our guests with disabilities. It is our belief that the needs of our guests with disabilities should simply be an extension of the same courtesies that we tender to all guests and employees.

In planning for the Rodeo, we have worked with the following experts and local officials to ensure we are continually meeting all ADA guidelines and requirements:

  • Aramark, Sports and Entertainment
  • HLSR Vendors, Commercial Exhibitors and Contractors

We have made several modifications and enhanced many areas of accessibility at NRG Park including parking, pathways and walkways, security screening, restrooms, food and beverage locations and seating. We are continually dedicated to ensuring that all activities and programs are accessible by people with disabilities.

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and ASM Global have jointly developed policies, and procedures to ensure that the facilities, services, and accommodations at NRG Park are accessible and available to every guest.

Assistance for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Guests

All seats in NRG Stadium meet ADA requirements for the deaf and hard of hearing and have a view of the reader boards in the SE and NW corner of the Stadium that provide a description of all action, as well as the song lyrics during the concert (when possible).

Real-time captioning of announcer’s spoken words and song lyrics during concerts will be available throughout the run of the Show at rodeohouston.com/captions. Open Captioning is also displayed on the ribbon boards on the SW and NE corner in NRG Stadium. 

Assisted Listening Devices: Complimentary assisted listening devices (ALDs) are available at all Guest Services booths at NRG Stadium. A government ID is required to check out a device and will be returned to you when the device is returned.

American Sign Language Interpreters: We will livestream sign language interpreter services every night of RODEOHOUSTON which includes all RODEOHOUSTON events and concert performances in NRG Stadium. Livestream is available through a protected link streamed straight to your smart device. For questions and access regarding the livestream, please contact questions@rodeohouston.com or go to the nearest Guest Services booth the night of the Show.

Accessible Seating in NRG Stadium

NRG Stadium provides wheelchair accessible and companion seating for guests needing assistance. The ADA seating areas are located at the top of the section on the Lower Level, Mezzanine Level, Club Level, last row of the Suite Level, Loge Level. Directors Club and Chairman’s Club.

If you are a Season Ticket Member requiring temporary ADA seating, please contact the Ticketing department at 832.667.1080.

If you are attending a single night, tickets for seating in the ADA area are available to persons with disabilities on the same basis as all other single tickets. ADA tickets are available based on first come, first served.

Seat relocations may also be available on the day of the performance. If a guest needs assistance with ADA relocation, please visit the Guest Services booth on the level that your tickets are on and tickets will be swapped out for ADA seating if available. Again, ADA tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  

Accessible Seating in NRG Arena

NRG Arena provides wheelchair accessible and companion seating for guests needing assistance. To access the ADA seating areas, there is a platform lift operated by the Guest Experience team located at Section 102.   

Elevators

NRG Stadium: Each gate at NRG Stadium is equipped with elevators providing service to all levels of the facility. Club Seat Members and Suite Holders are welcome to use the elevators in either the East Club Lobby or West Club Lobby.

NRG Center: There are (8) elevators located throughout NRG Center.

NRG Arena: There is one platform lift located at Section 102 staffed by the Medical and Safety Committee.

Assistance for Blind or Low Vision Guests

Service animals, or those in training, for guests with disabilities are permitted at all NRG Park facilities. Please see a security team member if any accommodations are required.

  • Due to tight seating arrangements and means of egress issues for large numbers of guests, the Rodeo reserves the right to relocate guests with service animals to the closest accessible seating area. Emotional support animals are not permitted.

Aira access is available at NRG Park. This service improves accessibility for blind and low vision guests by using a combination of artificial intelligence and augmented reality. Guests must download the Aira app to access this service.

Play-by-play descriptions of Rodeo events during select RODEOHOUSTON performances are provided on the following dates:

Escalators

NRG Stadium: Escalators are available at all four gates: Kroger, Ford, Phillips 66 and Xfinity. For Club and Suite access, there are escalators available on the East and West Club entrances. Only Club Seat and Suite Holders may utilize the escalators in the East and West Club.

NRG Center: Escalators are available in front of Exhibit Halls A, C, D and E.

Family/Companion Restrooms

Family restrooms are designed for guests with disabilities and guests with small children. All family restrooms are accessible and equipped with baby changing tables.

Universal Changing Restrooms are located in Hall C near First Aid in NRG Center and at section 133 in NRG Stadium across from the Guest Services booth.

Fully Accessible Mobile Restroom with Universal Changing

We are offering a safe and comfortable personal care space for those with mobility limitations and their caregivers. This groundbreaking facility sets a new standard by providing a range of inclusive features, including an adjustable adult-size changing table, a ceiling hoist for safe transfers, adjustable sink/grab bars, toilet with bidet and a dedicated team of trained professionals to inform guests about the amenities and clean the space between uses. We’re committed to ensuring a safe and dignified environment, eliminating barriers so everyone can fully enjoy the event. The mobile restroom can be found in the Junction restroom area.

Guest Services

For assistance during the Rodeo, please visit us at any Guest Service booths inside NRG Stadium.

  • Guest Services can assist guests with lost and found items, lost children, ticket issues, comments and complaints, stadium directions and general information.
  • Guest Services booths are located in Sections 113, 133, 319, 346, 517 and 543.
  • Directions and Assistance Committeemen (in teal vests) located on the 100 and 500 levels can also help with general information and stadium directions.

The Directions and Assistance Committee is also located inside Room 102 of NRG Center. They can offer assistance with lost and found items, lost children and general information.

Inclusive Signage

NRG Park signage identifying restrooms and other areas is shown in both conventional lettering and numbering and in braille for individuals with visual impairments all at the appropriate height.

Family/Quiet Rooms

Family Rooms offer privacy and a quiet atmosphere. The facilities are climate controlled and located in the lobby of the first floor of NRG Center on the east end and inside Hall E of NRG Center near the restrooms. Family Rooms are also located outside in between NRG Stadium and NRG Astrodome, as well as a location at the exit of Fun on the Farm. There is one location inside NRG Stadium across from the Guest Services booth at section 133.  Baby changing tables are located in all restrooms in NRG Arena, NRG Center and NRG Stadium.

Nursing Mothers

Breast pumps, baby formula, small cooler for milk and other nursing mother equipment is permitted inside of NRG Park. All equipment must be checked during the security screening process.

Nursing mother rooms are located behind the Guest Services booth at section 133 inside NRG Stadium and inside Hall E and Hall A of NRG Center.

Public Transportation

    Sensory Kits & Sensory Friendly Room

    NRG Stadium

    NRG Stadium has partnered with Kulture City to ensure all stadium events are sensory inclusive. This initiative promotes an accommodating and positive experience for all guests with a sensory issue.

    Sensory kits are equipped with noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards and are available to all guests who may feel overwhelmed by the environment. Sensory kits are located at Guest Service booths at section 113, 133, 319, 346, 517 and 543.

    NRG Stadium also offers a sensory friendly room available to guests with sensory processing needs located at section 133 across from the Guest Services booth. The room provides an inclusive and comfortable space including dim lighting, a textured wall and weighted lap pads. Please visit the Guest Services booth at section 133 for access into the room.

    NRG Center

    The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has a limited number of sensory friendly kits that includes a fidget toy, ear plugs and sunglasses. The sensory friendly kits can be picked up inside NRG Center at Room 102 (between Hall A and B).

    NRG Park Access

    To gain access to NRG Park grounds, please enter through one of the nine main entrances. All main entrance gates are readily accessible using wheeled equipment.

    Sensory Friendly Experience

    March 6, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    The Rodeo will host a Sensory Friendly Experience on Thursday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in a select area of the carnival to promote an accommodating and positive experience for all Rodeo guests with sensory sensitivities or challenges. During this time, there will be minimal lights and sounds permitted in the carnival.

    Since 1932, The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (“HLSR”) promotes agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience that educates and entertains the public, supports Texas youth, showcases Western heritage and provides year-round educational support within the community.

    At HLSR, your safety is our main concern. Thank you for your support.

    This property is monitored 24 hours a day by video surveillance. Commercial photography and filming take place during all normal business hours. This facility operates in accordance with all regulations mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

    Commercial Production Release

    By entering these premises, you authorize and hereby give HLSR permission to copyright and publish all photographs, motion pictures, voice recordings, and/or videotapes taken by them or their agents in which you may appear. Filming and photography may utilize still, video and/or drone image capture systems.

    Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Code of Conduct

    Welcome to The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (“HLSR”). In order to provide a safe, secure and pleasant environment, we ask for your cooperation in complying with this Code of Conduct at all times

    We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person without refund in violation of this document.

    General Rules and Policies

    1. No alcoholic beverages, narcotics, or any illegal substances may be brought onto the Show grounds. HLSR reserves the right to deny admission to and remove any person who appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotics or illegal substances.
    2. No person shall bring into or possess within HLSR Show grounds any firearm or weapons of any nature (or objects that appear to be weapons), including, but not limited to, knives longer than 5.5”, chains, ammunition, impact weapons, chemical agents (e.g. mace and pepper spray) or electronic control devices (e.g. Tasers, stun guns). No concealed-carry firearms will be permitted by non-law enforcement personnel on property at any time.
    3. No domestic pets are permitted on HLSR Show grounds with the exception of service animals.
    4. All personal mobility vehicles cannot exceed 5 MPH on HLSR Show grounds at any
    5. Proper attire must be worn on HLSR Show grounds at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Wearing clothing, visible tattoos or any other attire bearing the name, insignia, colors, or other indicia of affiliation to a criminal street gang is prohibited on HLSR Show grounds.
    6. No clothing or apparel that intentionally obscures the face is permitted unless worn for cultural or religious reasons or a medical condition.
    7. No attached wagon trains are permissible on HLSR Show grounds. Patrons are allowed to bring single wagons and any attached cooler compartment.
    8. Glass containers may not be brought onto HLSR Show grounds.
    9. All persons, bags, parcels, clothing and other items may be subject to screening/security checks at HLSR Show grounds entrances.
    10. HLSR reserves the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item to be brought into the grounds, and to deal with any unattended object in such a way as we consider

    Prohibited Activities

    The following activities are prohibited at The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (“HLSR”):

    1. Conduct and behavior that is threatening, belligerent, hostile, disorderly, obscene, lewd, unsafe, illegal, and disruptive or interferes with or endangers the operations, staff, or patrons. Such conduct may include, but not limited to, fighting, using profanity or abusive language, spitting, running, shouting, littering, horseplay, throwing of any type of debris or object, and/or using threatening remarks, symbols or
    2. Standing or walking or running in large groups that block the movement of HLSR patrons or cause inconvenience to others.
    3. Blocking any building, booth, exhibit, concession stand, performance, ticket window, gate, stage, doorway, walkway, fire exit or
    4. Bicycle riding, skateboarding, rollerblading, Moped riding, hoverboarding or skating of any kind on HLSR Show grounds.
    5. Sitting on or placing feet on tabletops, furniture or fixtures.
    6. Interfering with HLSR business or interfering with the conduct of business by HLSR concessionaires or exhibitors.
    7. Soliciting contributions or signatures, leafleting, picketing or displaying signs, posters or banners except in designated areas assigned by HLSR by permit upon proper application, subject to HLSR rules for non-commercial expressive
    8. Soliciting for sale, offering for sale, selling goods or services and/or distributing buttons, bumper stickers, hats, balloons, T-shirts, novelty items, food or beverages by non-concessionaires. (The sales of goods and services may only be conducted in a designated commercial space by approved concessionaires and exhibitors upon payment of a fee for such commercial space. Applications for such commercial space may be obtained from the HLSR Commercial Exhibits Team).
    1. Any activity that could result in physical harm to person or property.

    In addition to HLSR’s Code of Conduct, guests are required to comply with all local, state and federal laws, as well as individual HLSR policies, rules and instructions posted or otherwise listed.

    VIOLATION OF THIS CODE OF CONDUCT WILL CONSTITUTE CAUSE FOR REMOVAL OF THE VIOLATOR FROM HLSR SHOW GROUNDS WITHOUT REFUND.

    Admission Tickets

    If I have a ticket for the rodeo/concert, do I need an additional ticket for the livestock show/carnival/grounds?

    Your rodeo/concert ticket allows access to NRG Stadium AND NRG Park, including NRG Arena, NRG Center and the Carnival.

    What is the Rodeo Ticket Account?

    The Rodeo Ticket Account is your account for all RODEOHOUSTON® tickets purchased through AXS, the Rodeo’s official ticket provider. This account allows buyers to manage their ticket purchases, ticket transfers and ticket sales on the AXS secondary market, the Rodeo’s only verified secondary market.

    How do I access my Rodeo Ticket Account?

    Your Rodeo Ticket Account may be accessed via fanaccount.axs.com/login. To access your account from rodeohouston.com, click on the “Login” button at the top of the home page, then select “Ticket Account” from the drop-down menu and log in with your AXS account credentials. This account is different from your Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ member account.

    What can I do from my Rodeo Ticket Account?

    In your Rodeo Ticket Account, you can view all your RODEOHOUSTON tickets and all AXS purchases for any venue that uses AXS as their ticket provider. You can also use your Rodeo Ticket Account to transfer tickets to another party and sell tickets on the RODEOHOUSTON verified secondary market. If you sell tickets through your account, you can also use the account to initiate balance transfers from your ticket sales.

    What if I have season tickets to RODEOHOUSTON?

    You can access your season tickets through your Rodeo Ticket Account. You can also manage your upcoming payments and use all the account features for buying, transferring and selling your tickets.

    Can you also transfer parking in the Rodeo Ticket Account?

    You cannot transfer parking in the Rodeo Ticket Account.

    How do I access my RODEOHOUSTON Tickets?

    All tickets will be delivered electronically via AXS Mobile ID; please allow 48 hours for delivery. To access your purchased tickets, download the RODEOHOUSTON mobile app and log in to your AXS ticket account.

    Is this account just for my RODEOHOUSTON tickets?

    The account can be used for any venue that uses AXS as their ticket provider. You may see other events in your account, if you have purchased tickets to another venue that uses AXS.

    Can I purchase tickets on the secondary market?

    Rodeo fans can purchase secondary market tickets to their favorite performances through AXS, the Rodeo’s only verified secondary market, available at rodeohouston.com.

    Primary tickets, purchased directly from RODEOHOUSTON, and verified secondary market tickets are available for purchase on the same page at rodeohouston.com. Once secondary market tickets are available to purchase, they will appear in the link as a different color than primary market tickets. Secondary market tickets may be available prior to the public on sale(s) via its own link, should a Rodeo season ticket holder decide to sell their tickets for a specific night, but those secondary market tickets will be taken off sale during the public onsale. The 2023 public onsale date will be announced at a later time. After the public onsale traffic has peaked, primary and secondary tickets will be available to purchase on the same page at rodeohouston.com, identified with different colors.

    Purchasing tickets through AXS, the Rodeo’s only verified secondary market, allows buyers a safe place to purchase RODEOHOUSTON tickets on the secondary market with the security of knowing tickets purchased are valid for entry.

    What time does the performer come on stage?

    Actual start times for the concert can vary day to day due to the different number of rodeo competitors and other production elements.

    • Weekday rodeos start at 6:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 9 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 6 p.m.
    • Weekend rodeos start at 2:45 p.m. The entertainer takes the stage at approximately 5 p.m. NRG Stadium gates open at 2 p.m.

    What does SRO mean for Rodeo/Concert tickets?

    Standing Room Only — allows access to the designated SRO areas located on the 100 level concourse of NRG Stadium. SRO does not have an assigned seat; requires standing.

    Do I need a ticket for my children?

     Children 3 years old and above need a ticket to enter.

    IF I MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE HALF-PRICED CARNIVAL PACKS, HOW ELSE CAN I PURCHASE CARNIVAL TICKETS?

    You can purchase full-price carnival tickets at any RCS ticket sales booth and/or kiosk in the carnival area of NRG Park during operating hours or through the RODEOHOUSTON App by using Apple or Google Pay. 

    HOW DO I ACCESS MY CARNIVAL PACKS AND/OR CARNIVAL FOOD CARDS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED THROUGH RODEOHOUSTON.COM OR THE RODEOHOUSTON APP?

    To access your half-priced carnival packs and carnival food cards, please download the RODEOHOUSTON App.  

    If purchased directly from a Carnival Ticket Sales Volunteer and have the product in hand, please follow the instructions on the back of the card.  

    If purchased online, either through rodeohouston.com or the RODEOHOUSTON App, please follow the instructions below:  

    • If you have an existing carnival account, please log in with the same mobile number used to purchase the product on the RODEOHOUSTON App to access your carnival packs and/or carnival food cards  
    • If you do not have an existing carnival account within the RODEOHOUSTON App at the time of purchase, an account was automatically created for you with the same mobile number used to purchase the product and has automatically been added to your account. Follow the steps below to access your purchases:   
    1. Download the RODEOHOUSTON App
    2. Select “Menu” and “Carnival Login” 
    3. Click “Forgot/Set Password.” 
    4. Enter the mobile phone number and follow the steps on the screen to set your password.  

          WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A SMARTPHONE?

          If you do not have a smartphone and you purchased a physical half-priced carnival pack, you can take your physical carnival pack to the nearest RCS Guest Services booths located within the carnival to exchange for a paper version.  

          Prior to February 26th, 2025, you can take your physical carnival pack to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo offices located in NRG Center and exchange for a paper version.
           

          DO NOT scratch off the QR code if you are planning to exchange your card.
           You must have a smartphone to purchase online.  If you do not have a smartphone and/or have already purchased it online, please email carnival@rodeohouston.com for assistance.

          IF I BUY CARNIVAL PACKS AND/OR CARNIVAL FOOD CARDS, CAN I TRANSFER THEM TO A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND?

          You can! Following the “in-app” instructions, you can easily transfer as long as the following guidelines are met:  

          • The recipient must have an existing carnival account in the RODEOHOUSTON App at the time of transfer. 
          • There is no limit on the number of half-priced carnival packs you can transfer, however each half-price pack may only be transferred twice.  
          • No more than (5) carnival food cards can be transferred from your account.  
          • No more than (5) full price carnival tickets transactions can be transferred from your account.  

                DO I NEED A TICKET TO ENTER THE CARNIVAL?

                You must have a 2025 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest Ticket, Daily Grounds Admission Ticket, or a Rodeo/Concert Ticket to enter the grounds. Visit rodeohouston.com/tickets for more information and to purchase admission tickets. 

                CAN I USE THE TICKETS THAT I BOUGHT LAST YEAR?

                All carnival related products, including half-priced carnival packs, carnival food cards, and grounds admission tickets are valid only for the current year and expire at the close of Show each year

                HOW MUCH ARE INDIVIDUAL CARNIVAL TICKETS FOR 2025?

                Individual ride and game tickets cost $1.25 each. They can be purchased through the RODEOHOUSTON App or in-person at any RCS Ticket Booth or Kiosk in the carnival area. Rides and games require multiple tickets.  

                DO YOU OFFER A FAST PASS?

                Yes! The Fast Pass allows you to avoid long lines and can be purchased at any RCS ticket booth. A limited quantity is sold each day and is only valid for the day of purchase. The cost is $30 and the rider must wear the Fast Pass wristband, the Fast Pass lanyard with the VIP tag and have the appropriate number of tickets for the ride. Fast Passes are not tickets.  

                WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS DURING MY VISIT?

                Some attractions may close due to inclement weather and will not reopen until conditions permit safe operation. Please enjoy a meal or shopping until such weather passes. Rodeo Houston does not issue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather.  

                WHAT DO I DO IF MY PHONE DIES?

                Charging stations will be available at kiosks throughout the Carnival.
