The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee Showcase gives individuals an opportunity to meet with some of our committees and learn about their responsibilities as well as the requirements involved to be a part of an organization more than 35,000 strong! Parking is available in the Red lot at no charge. The 300 Series rooms are located on the west end of NRG Center on the second floor. Those interested will have an opportunity to sign up to become a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Must be 21 years of age or older Does not guarantee a volunteer position Recruiting Committees: Facility services - The Facility Services Committee supervises cleaning staff and contractors to maintain the Show grounds, including the livestock show, horse show and carnival, helping to ensure clean facilities and grounds for the public and exhibitors. Recycling - The Recycling Committee handles the Show’s extensive recycling program. Committee members recycle cardboard, plastic and aluminum, resulting in thousands of pounds of recycled products, keeping these items out of landfills.
