The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Committee Showcase gives individuals an opportunity to meet with some of our committees and learn about their responsibilities as well as the requirements involved to be a part of an organization more than 35,000 strong! Parking is available in the Red lot at no charge - see map below. The 600 Series rooms are located on the west end of NRG Center on the second floor. Those interested will have an opportunity to sign up to become a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Must be 21 years of age or older Does not guarantee a volunteer position Recruiting Committees: Agriculture Education - The Agriculture Education Committee promotes the Show mission by teaching agriculture education and awareness at local schools and other educational venues. Members volunteer year-round by developing curriculum and giving educational demonstrations. Feed Store - Members of this committee are responsible for the management and operations of the Show’s feed store. They sell animal feed and other supplies to livestock and horse show exhibitors and Rodeo contestants, providing quality service and delivery.
