R.C. has a pathway to the Championship by trying to be one of the top 4 as he matches up against a horse called Redbone. The last time this horse bucked, they scored 86 points, which would have been enough to advance from Semi Final 1. The two million dollar cowboy faces a strong field, but has to like his chances. - Kellan/Carson Johnson – Team Roping
The Johnson brothers come in knowing they snuck out of Super Series 4 with just $5,500 between them. These young men understand big moments having won a collegiate title in front of their hometown crowd in Casper, Wyoming in 2021. Though they may be a sleeper pick to some, these two sons of World Champion heeler Jhett Johnson have both experience and ability to move out of the Semi’s and on to Sunday. - Trevor Reiste – Bull Riding
Trevor completed the sweep in his Super Series, but we are hoping he isn’t finished just yet. If he added a win in his Semifinals and a $65,000 check Sunday, his RodeoHouston earnings just this year would be $77,000. That’s not a bad payday for riding 5 bulls in one month.
