ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run
The 23rd annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run kicked off the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ with a pavement-pounding 10K race and 5K fun run/walk on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010. More than 12,500 athletes participated this year.
All ages are welcome to participate in the annual ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run, with entry fees donated to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Educational Fund. With its $310,000 donation in 2010, ConocoPhillips has contributed more than $2.5 million to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Educational Fund since the race began in 1988.

The top race finishers in the 10K race included:
- Overall Male – Sean Wade, Houston, 31:27
- Overall Female – Mary Davies, Houston, 35:32
- Masters Male – Rudy Rocha, Baytown, Texas, 34:19
- Masters Female – Carmen Ayala-Troncosco, Austin, 37:06
- Wheelchair Male – Juan Rios, Houston, 27:08
Costume contest winners were:
- Best Dressed – George Stratts, Villanova, Penn.
- Most Spirited – Elise Nellsch, Livingston, Texas
