International Wine Competition
The 2009 Rodeo Uncorked! Wine Show kicked off on Nov. 15, 2009, with the sixth annual International Wine Competition. This private judging event determines the wines to be featured at the 2009 Roundup and Best Bites Competition held in Halls B and C of Reliant Center on Sunday, Feb. 8. Top winners will be awarded with custom-made saddles, chaps and buckles and auctioned at the Champion Wine Auction on Saturday, March 7, 2009.
1,879 wines from 583 wineries and 14 countries were vying for the prestigious title of Grand Champion Best of Show, and our wine experts awarded 1,079 medals to the group.
