RodeoHouston® appearances: 2010, '13
New Mexico born and Texas raised, Demi Lovato gained a large following after several years as a superstar in the popular television movie series, “Camp Rock,” and as the main character in “Sonny With a Chance.” She released songs on soundtracks for both shows.
Since 2008, Lovato has released three studio albums, with the most recent, “Unbroken,” showing more of a soulful side to her artistry. The album’s second single, “Give Your Heart a Break,” quickly became Lovato’s largest radio hit to date, and has sold more than 1 million digital copies. In the summer of 2012, Lovato joined Simon Cowell, Brittany Spears and L.A. Reid as a judge and mentor on the hit television show “The X Factor.”
